A Peaceful Paced Life
In our daily journey we are co creating our reality. We are designing our futures, our relationships and our destiny. Our thoughts can get in the way of creating inner and outer peace. We set the tone for the pace we travel through our reality.
We all have INTERIOR and EXTERIOR views. What we interpret around us originates within our thoughts. Our thoughts create our experiences throughout our day. What intention do you set for yourself every morning upon waking? I have a practice that I have implemented on a regular basis that helps me navigate through my days. Some of which, let's face it, are not all roses and sunshine. However the intention I set for starting my day seems to carry a theme throughout my day. So I might start out with "I am grateful for the start of a new day. I will see the beauty in opportunities presented today." I hold the thought in my head and shift it into my heart. That is a step in a positive direction with work on your INTERIOR.
Your pace may be set for the day by not reaching for your phone before you have a chance to depart from your resting place. Instead of picking up the phone first thing, try placing your hands on your heart and taking a deep breath in. Hold a vision of a special place you love to visit. The top of a mountain, the sandy shore, the mossy floor of a forest. Exhale slowly and ask for peace in your day. For you ladies that have little ones! Before you go to wake up those beauties to start the day, stand beside your bed. Raise your arms up taking in a deep breath, exhale as you lower your arms back down to your side. Repeat this several times. Hold your hands over your heart and stand with eyes closed. Ask the Universe to fill your being with love and joy. Take a moment to honor yourself before you go tending to others and the multiple tasks for the day.
My EXTERIOR view is designing vignettes that inspire me, calm me and simply bring JOY! This is my view in the morning.
I have taken vintage bottles and arranged them with lovely blooms. I chose to utilize some orange silks that I had around from a prior project. The orange is stimulating to me and brings out the orange design in the petite turquoise ginger jar. I stare off into the woods while filling the kettle for morning tea. It sets the most peaceful pace for me to linger for a moment and enjoy the gift presented to me for this new day. So set the course for your day and start a morning routine of positive self talk. Decorate your view; it does not have to be with vintage bottles! The simple task of utilizing used condiment jars filled with blossoms works wonderfully! Enjoy! Have a Peaceful Paced day....
