WRONG. Emailing someone who did not sign up for your email is spammy, but sending out emails to people who have signed up for it is very well received. People are expecting to get something in their email from you, it's why they signed up in the first place!

Email Marketing doesn't show results
WRONG. Email marketing is twice as effective as any other online marketing used to date. Of course your emails need to be more than just marketing to be effective. They have to be engaging. Which brings us to our biggest reason people don't use email marketing.
Email Marketing is hard and time consuming
WRONG! Email marketing can be very fun and creative. It doesn't have to be all business and no play, to the contrary it should be fun and bring you closer to your customers. Yes you do need to put thought into your emails and sharing a picture quote on Facebook can be much easily. But you're a Small Business Owner, you're not in it because it's easy, you're in it because you are strong and passionate about what you do. You can't effectively share that on Facebook with a picture quote but you can share that with your email list!
